Food truck park opens in Bossier City

In bustling urban centers, you've likely come across food truck gatherings, where local culinary entrepreneurs gather in designated lots to display their talents and gain exposure. For Bossier, this vision has been in the making for years, and now it has become a reality.

Food truck park opens in Bossier City

On Friday, September 8th, the South Bossier Food Truck Park officially opened its doors. It can be found at 3420 Barksdale Blvd., and it's here every day.

From brunch delights to mouthwatering barbeque, families can either grab a meal to-go or savor it on the premises beneath the sheltered patio.

Shannon Hicks, the proprietor of Masshole Lobster Truck, believes that this development is long overdue for the region. It not only offers food trucks an opportunity to thrive but also introduces fresh dining choices to the community daily.

"This is a brilliant concept. Our locality has been yearning for something like this. Families can come out and dine together, especially on a pleasant day like today when the weather isn't scorching," she remarked. "Despite the morning rain, we've seen an impressive turnout. It's an ideal gathering spot for food trucks, and we're enthusiastic about collaborating with others in the food truck community."
